Rachel is an Analyst in the World Bank Carbon Markets and Innovation team. She leads the Networked Carbon Markets initiative, which focuses on developing innovative tools and frameworks to support the operationalization of Article 6. As part of this work, she is involved developing a proof-of-concept for blockchain-enabled climate markets. Before joining the World Bank, she worked as a Research Analyst at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment to support policy analysis on carbon pricing. Rachel has a MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Geography with Economics from the London School of Economics.
