Biography

Mr. Onil Bergeron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Montreal as well as a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. degree in Forest Science from Laval University in Québec City. He worked for three years as a postdoctoral fellow at McGill University studying biometeorology of urban environments. In 2010, he joined the Quebec’s Ministry of Sustainable development, Environment and Fight against Climate change, first as an analyst in the Climate monitoring Program and then, in 2016, as a strategic advisor as part of the Carbon Market Division.
